Yun-I Pregnancy Results and Experience Sharing 💝

From April to the end of September 2020, the pregnancy rate of embryo transfer cycles at Yun-I, calculated as pregnancy cycles divided by transfer cycles, was 57.7%. The pregnancy rate for frozen embryo thawing and transfer cycles was 60.6%.

Among all embryo transfer cycles, the proportion of single embryo transfer, SET, was 66.2%, and the pregnancy rate for SET was 59.6%.

We are very happy to share this good news with everyone. Please also refer to the chart.

According to Yun-I’s statistical data:

1. Among women undergoing egg retrieval at Yun-I, 73% were over the age of 38, and there were almost no patients under 35.

It is an undeniable fact that pregnancy success rates decline as a woman’s age increases. In recent years, the rising age of women entering fertility treatment has become a common challenge faced by reproductive centers.

At Yun-I, 73% of the women treated were over 38 years old, yet the clinic still achieved a pregnancy rate of 57.7%. This is truly encouraging.

Women over 38 years old with AMH below 1.2 are advised to seek professional assistance as early as possible. This is an important step toward improving the chance of successful pregnancy. Yun-I will also continue to work hard.

2. In recent years, the trend in reproductive medicine both in Taiwan and internationally has moved toward Single Embryo Transfer, SET.

The purpose of SET is to avoid transferring multiple embryos at once, which may lead to multiple pregnancies and increase health risks for both the pregnant woman and the fetus. I strongly support this concept.

According to assisted reproduction statistics released by the Health Promotion Administration in June this year, the SET rate in Taiwan in 2018 was only 20.5%.

At Yun-I, the SET rate was 66.2%, significantly higher than the national average. Even with this high SET rate, Yun-I’s SET pregnancy rate still reached 59.6%, proving The Power of One.

In other words, SET is both safe and feasible in clinical practice.

In my opinion, the keys to successful single embryo transfer are:

  1. Carefully culturing high-quality embryos
  2. Selecting the best single embryo for transfer
  3. Accurately identifying the best timing for embryo transfer based on endometrial receptivity

Reproductive medicine in Taiwan continues to advance. Women are encouraged to enter treatment early, consult with the medical team, and pursue a personalized treatment plan with a higher chance of success.

Yun-I wishes you good pregnancy luck 💝
