This time, I brought my husband back to Taiwan from the United States for IVF treatment. We stayed for only 16 days in total, and my husband stayed for only 10 days. Even with such a tight schedule, Dr. Hui-Po Li and all the nurses still helped us complete egg retrieval and freeze several embryos. They truly made us feel that the clinic was very professional and reassuring!
I would like to share 8 thoughts from my experience:
- 1.This was my first time doing IVF, so I had no experience injecting myself in the abdomen. However, the nurses were all very kind and willing to help me with the injections.
- 2.My husband had some difficulty during the sperm collection process and complained a little. The clinic immediately helped us think of other solutions, and in the end, it was successfully completed. I am truly grateful for the care and effort of all the nursing staff.
- 3.Whenever I had questions about medication and asked through LINE, the replies were always very fast.
- 4.The clinic also provides an app, which is very convenient. Blood test records and frozen embryo grades can all be viewed in the app.
- 5.My husband does not understand Chinese, but Dr. Li was able to explain all treatment precautions in English, allowing him to clearly understand the process.
- 6.On the day of egg retrieval, I fell asleep after anesthesia and woke up after the procedure was already completed, so there was no pain. After the procedure, the nurse prepared a sports drink and breakfast for me. The doctor also prescribed several days of anti-inflammatory and pain relief medication. Two days after egg retrieval, I returned for a follow-up visit to check whether there was any ascites, making sure I could safely return to the United States.
- 7.Yun-I has a beautiful, clean environment and convenient transportation.
- 8.Once an appointment time is scheduled, the waiting time is usually not long.
For IVF treatment, it may be better to write a review after the final success. I have not yet undergone embryo transfer, so I do not know the final result yet. However, so far, the consultations, egg retrieval, and overall experience have all been excellent.
I truly recommend couples returning from overseas to give Yun-I a try!
