The Little Happiness After a Positive Pregnancy Test 💝
At Yun-I, single embryo transfer is performed on the fifth day after ovulation in a natural cycle.
On the seventh day after transfer, a blood test is arranged to check HCG, human chorionic gonadotropin.
At this time, if the transferred embryo has already implanted, the placenta begins to form, and the trophoblast tissue of the placenta secretes HCG.
Therefore, checking the HCG level can help confirm whether pregnancy has occurred.
Usually, when the HCG level is above 10, pregnancy is considered successful.
However, in a good pregnancy, the HCG level should double every 48 hours.
Last week, one happy mother-to-be had her second HCG test.
The result was 400, and it had doubled.
We were very happy to congratulate her on her pregnancy 🎊
Overjoyed, she told me that in her entire life, she had never seen two lines appear on a pregnancy test.
I told her that most pregnancy tests currently available on the market may show a positive result when HCG exceeds 25.
So I immediately arranged a small surprise experiment.
She joyfully brought the pregnancy test with two lines home as a keepsake 🤗
After a positive pregnancy test, the next milestone is seeing the fetal heartbeat by ultrasound at six weeks of pregnancy.
Today, the couple came to Yun-I and, just as they had hoped, saw the baby’s regular and strong heartbeat inside the uterus.
This is the confirmation of pregnancy 🤰 and also a moment of true little happiness: confirmed happiness 💝
Seeing her years of effort finally become a dream come true at Yun-I, our team not only shared her joy, but also felt a proud sense of accomplishment 👏👏👏
Yun-I wishes you good pregnancy luck!
