【Good Pregnancy Story: Diverse Family Building】

Sending precious eggs overseas to fulfill the dream of having children is a long and challenging journey.

After they chose a legal fertility institution overseas on their own, they faced repeated confirmations with the international transport company, high costs, language barriers, and the anxiety of administrative waiting.

Fortunately, the Yun-I team, familiar with the entire process, supported them throughout the journey, so they no longer felt alone.

After completing embryo transfer in the United States in July, they returned to Yun-I and received the most anticipated good news: the pregnancy was confirmed, and the baby had a heartbeat 💖.

To ensure the treatment in the United States would proceed smoothly, the physician in the U.S. first requested confirmation that the uterus was suitable for implantation.

She returned to Yun-I, where Dr. Hsin-Yang Li first performed a series of evaluations and examinations, confirming that there was a polyp in the uterine cavity.

Dr. Yi-Liang Li then performed hysteroscopic surgery and removed the polyp using a cold knife technique, creating a good environment for implantation.

After surgery, she carefully cooperated with Dr. Hui-Po Li to track ovulation, and Dr. Li also performed a mock embryo transfer to ensure that the treatment in the U.S. would go smoothly.

Under the current Assisted Reproduction Act, treatment is still limited to heterosexual married couples. As a result, many single women and same-sex couples still need to travel overseas to pursue their dream of having children.

Only those who have personally experienced cross-border fertility treatment truly understand how difficult the journey can be.

The Yun-I team provided both professionalism and warmth, accompanying them through the entire process.

Their feedback message:

【Our Journey to Have a Child: From Egg Freezing to Welcoming New Life】

As a same-sex family, we deeply understand that the path to having a child is not easy.

Three years ago, we decided to freeze eggs first, slowly prepare, save money, and plan for embryo transfer overseas in the future.

We are very grateful that we chose Yun-I back then.

Whether during each consultation or examination, the physicians and nursing team patiently and professionally explained the process, allowing every problem we encountered along the way to be resolved smoothly.

Even when we asked questions on LINE, we always received professional and warm replies right away, which made us feel deeply reassured.

Later, during an international medical care seminar held by Yun-I, we learned that even if we chose to undergo embryo transfer overseas, the Yun-I team could still assist us in completing the process. This gave us extra peace of mind.

Although the entire process was complicated, the careful assistance of the medical team saved us from having to run around handling many documents on our own.

During our time in the United States, Yun-I continued to care about us and follow up on our condition.

When we became pregnant successfully, seeing how happy they were for us made us deeply feel that this joy was sincerely blessed.

To us, Yun-I is not only a medical team, but more like a group of partners who accompanied us all the way.

They made us feel that whether it is a same-sex or heterosexual family, everyone who wants to become a parent deserves to have their own adorable little life.

Thank you, Yun-I. Thank you for becoming such important benefactors in our lives and our child’s life! 💖
